Foundational Components – ICT Infrastructure

ICT infrastructure is most evident in the form of desktop computers, personal digital assistants, laptops, tablets, smart phones, biomedical monitors; diagnostic imaging equipment and printers.

ICT devices use electronic communications, the Internet, electronic processing and storage maintained by computer technicians, application specialists, network engineers and database designers. Standards provide the framework to maximize the safe, reliable and efficient operation.
